The Difference

We don't rent AV gear. We direct the show.

A lot of our competition today is anyone with a laptop, some streaming software, or a truck full of lighting and sound equipment. That's not what we do, and it's not what you're hiring when you hire us.

An AV company vs. a production company

The distinction most buyers don't realize matters until the show is already underway.

An AV rental company
  • Supplies lighting, sound, and video equipment
  • Staffs technicians to run that equipment on the day
  • Is typically brought in after the event is already planned
EventStudio
  • Designs and directs the show itself — stage, pacing, cues
  • Negotiates AV vendors on your behalf, so you get the right equipment at the right price
  • Develops the content, writes the run of show, and directs it live from the booth, on-site or remotely
  • Is involved from planning through the last cue, not just the day-of setup
Why it matters

At EventStudio we don't supply lights, sound, or video — we supply judgment. We scope the room wherever it is, negotiate local vendors, write the paperwork, build the show, and direct it from the booth — on site or remotely — so your event looks produced, not just staffed.

Common questions

Do you provide any equipment yourselves?

No — we negotiate and manage AV vendors on your behalf, but we don't own or rent out lighting, sound, or video equipment ourselves.

Can you work alongside an AV company we've already hired?

Yes — we regularly direct events where the AV equipment and crew are supplied by a separate vendor; that's exactly the arrangement we're built for.
